Pop Culture is one of my favorite subjects to discuss.
One of the best (& worst) things the internet allows is for humans to collectively point out some weird phenomenon & comment about how much we love or despise that particular thing.
When you think about it, there are so many niche sub categories of pop culture that it's kinda overwhelming.
Think about it, there's a whole contingent of folks out there that love TLC shows like Hoarders.
Like, that's crazy!
I have my opinions on some things that become popular, and mostly it's "not for me, mate, but to each their own."
However, there are some things that become "big" that I just can't let go & have to say something about because, well, that's the type of person I am.
One of those things is Future & the "mumblecore" rap scene.
Just no.
NO. NO. NO.
I really can't wrap my head around any of it.
I've tried &, to me, it's like pineapple on pizza. Hard pass.
Atlanta will forever be the home of hip hop that makes me happy & (now) forever sad.
Luckily my brain tend to focus on the TI, 3 stacks, Big Boi, Young Jeezy contingent much more than those previously mentioned a few sentences above.
To be honest, the one aspect that makes me extremely jealous of United for is their tendency to have some of my beloved artists at their matches.
Big ups to Eric, Ryan, Matt & the entire digital/marketing crew.
On top of honoring some of the greats, y'all have done some incredible stuff out there in the A.
