Zions Bank Real Academy Partnership Services Manager

 

This at-will full-time position is responsible for the execution of contracts, providing excellence in customer service and maintaining outstanding relationships with existing clients. Manager will also work with sales manager to pull research, build proposals and assist in composing new business.

Inside Sale Representative

Real Salt Lake is currently seeking Inside Sales Representative’s. This at-will position is directly responsible to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. The inside sales representative will work with current season ticket members which includes renewals, referrals, add-ons, group and upgrades. This is achieved by providing world-class service, building excellent relationships with accounts, and delivering customized communications, events, programs, and benefits to Real Salt Lake season ticket members. The inside sales representative will also work with the new tickets sales team to build the season ticket member base by making outbound calls to sell full season tickets and partial mini packs. Inside sales will work with the group sales team to work with prospective groups who want to attend matches at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Senior Accountant

Real Salt Lake is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This at-will position conducts manages and performs the accounting activities of the company.

  • Maintain the General Ledger (Quickbooks) system to ensure it accurately reflects the activities of all companies.

  • Perform A/P and A/R functions.
  • Manage payroll activities and interface with human resources to ensure timely and accurate processing and disbursement.
  • Prepare information for the completion all tax returns, along with tax projections as needed.
  • Protect the company’s assets through an effective system of internal control and knowledge of the company’s information systems (general ledger, ticketing, etc.)
  • Work with The League as needed and prepare and submit league reports, including budgets, forecasts, and actual results.
  • Support the CFO as needed with analysis and recommendations.

RSL Groups Internship

These paid internships are awarded on an annual basis. Real Salt Lake is currently seeking qualified applicants for the 2018 MLS and NWSL Season. The RSL Group Ticketing Department internship program is a vital component to the success of the overall department. The efforts and contributions of the interns are heavily depended upon. In return for such dedication, the RSL Group Ticketing Department promises you one of the best hands-on internship experiences available.

This internship requires a minimum commitment of working every home RSL game and some Utah Royals FC home games. There may be opportunity for additional work in the office and in the community, working on the various programs and special events managed by the Group Ticketing Department.

Please note that the RSL 2018 season will begin sometime in March and runs through the end of October- possibly early December. The Utah Royals FC season will overlap during this time as well. The 2018 season schedules will be released mid-January.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Group Ticketing Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Game Day Activation
    • Pre-game staging of group youth players for pre-game ceremonies
      • We are in charge of all 400 on-field experiences filled by youth soccer participants for both RSL and Utah Royals.
    • AFCU Pavilion assistance – Corporate groups
      • We are in charge of hosting corporate groups in our Pavilion and creating an overall great experience for companies.
  • Assist with the execution of halftime games
  • Assist with outside player and mascot appearances
  • Help support the community in other ways that may come up throughout the season such has tournaments etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Assistant Field Manager for Real Salt Lake/Utah Royals FC

Summary:

This at-will, entry level position will report to the Director of Fields and Grounds and also the Assistant Director of Fields and Grounds. Under his supervision, the Assistant Field Manager participates in the maintenance of Rio Tinto Stadium Field, Rio Tinto Stadium itself, America First Practice Facility, common grounds maintenance, and related work as required. He/She typically conducts maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment used in the field of Turfgrass Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists in all aspects of athletic field maintenance, facility grounds maintenance, and general building maintenance.
  • General building maintenance including; light electrical applications, basic plumbing, painting, and drywall repair, stadium seat installation and repair, and basic carpentry.
  • All types of sports field maintenance labor such as:
    • Turfgrass Management
    • Sod cutting and installation
    • Irrigation management
    • Mowing, trimming and use of blowers
    • Fertilizing with a walk-behind fertilizer
    • Field markings and logo painting
  • The operation and maintenance of power equipment such as:

Athletic Trainer

SUMMARY:

This at-will position is a full time, traveling position. The Athletic Trainer must attend all Utah Royals FC training, scrimmages, and games (home and away). The role of the Athletic Trainer involves managing all medical and treatment needs of each athlete on a day-to-day basis.

  • Hire and manage interns in Athletic Training department each year to assist in all day-to-day needs
  • Maintain thorough database of all injuries, treatments, and medical needs of each athlete
  • Consistently communicate with Utah Royals FC Head Coach and technical staff on all injuries, treatments, and return-to-play protocols for each athlete
  • Work with RSL Soccer Operations Department to manage Utah Royals FC medical budget on a day-to-day basis - including ordering of all supplies
  • Work with RSL Director of Physical Performance and RSL Athletic Trainers to order and maintain all necessary nutrition and sports performance items (protein, dietary supplements, hydration items, etc.)
  • Comply with all NWSL requirements with regards to certifications, training, and education - including traveling to league meetings and participating in continuing education courses
  • Exhibit impeccable ethical and moral character.

Goalkeeper Coach

This at-will position is a full time, traveling position. The Goalkeeper Coach must attend all Utah Royals FC trainings, scrimmages, and games (home and away). The role of goalkeeper coach involves training all Utah Royals FC goalkeepers, and assisting the Head Coach with training and game preparations.

Job Title: Athletic Training Intern

 

Reports To: Head Athletic Trainer, Assistant Athletic Trainer

 

Occupational Summary

Five interns will be selected as part of Real Salt Lake’s Athletic Training internship selection process. Each internship position is part-time and begins March 1, although additional help during preseason may be required. Conclusion of the internship is December 1, but it too may vary based upon playoffs, CONCACAF, or the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Athletic Training interns are expected to assist the sports medicine staff in providing the highest quality care to Real Salt Lake athletes. You are also asked to seek out and take advantage of opportunities to become an integral part of patient care and rehabilitation. In addition to the aforementioned details, interns are also expected to aid in common daily Athletic Training duties, pre-training set-up and breakdown, and assist Real Salt Lake staff however necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing athletic training services to Real Salt Lake athletes, this includes attendance at scheduled team practices and home competitions
  • Maintain Athletic Training equipment and facilities
  • Actively participate in daily team activities and Athletic Training duties
  • Aid in daily treatment documentation
  • Function as a member of the Stretcher Crew during home competitions
  • Key interactions are with the staff Athletic Trainers, Strength & Conditioning staff, team physicians, and coaches
  • Work with the Sports Medicine and Strength & Conditioning staff in team testing such as: Real Salt Lake Functional Movement Screen, return to play testing, and baseline concussion evaluations
  • Collaborate with Sports Medicine staff regarding patient care and transportation to and from physician appointments

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program OR Certified Athletic Trainer.
  • American Heart Association AED/CPR Certification for the healthcare provider.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Previous soccer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Description: CSC Event Staff provide general guest services to sports and entertainment events. CSC Event Staff responsibilities include:

Video Production Intern

                        

Real Salt Lake is seeking hardworking, positive and motivated individuals to fulfill a wide range of media related responsibilities in the Communications Department. This internship is catered towards creative individuals who understand and embrace the importance of digital storytelling, social media and video content in a professional sports organization.

                        

● Primary Responsibilities:

                        

  • ○  Focus on expanding the RSL brand through multiple digital platforms

  • ○  Produce video content for the club          

  • ○  Collaborate with the Video Production and Digital teams

  • ○  Produce pregame previews, game recaps and post game reactions    

  • ○  Fulfill media requests for outside media outlets

  • ○  Assist videographers and photographers with on-field productions

  • ○  Archive footage

  • ○  Assist with social media platforms

 

● Qualifications:

  •  

  • ○  Basic understanding of video camera functionality, lighting, audio and production

  •     techniques    

  • ○  Knowledge of DSLR cameras is preferred        

  • ○  Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, FinalCut or Avid

This position is ideal for an individual who not only enjoys and excels in writing, but also has a strong interest in researching trends and statistics and finding creative ways to tell stories.

  • ○ Create written content including articles, press releases, match previews, match    

   recaps and additional projects.

  • ○  Assist with player and coach interviews & transcribe audio    

  • ○  Pitch story ideas to the Communications team    

  • ○  Research trends, stats and possible stories for club use    

  • ○  Transcribe postgame quotes

  • ○  Assist in all gameday administrative tasks including real-time stat tracking, live

  •      website/social updates, press box/media room setup and teardown and post game press conference.

  •    quotes and additional duties.
