Inside Sale Representative

Real Salt Lake is currently seeking Inside Sales Representative’s. This at-will position is directly responsible to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. The inside sales representative will work with current season ticket members which includes renewals, referrals, add-ons, group and upgrades. This is achieved by providing world-class service, building excellent relationships with accounts, and delivering customized communications, events, programs, and benefits to Real Salt Lake season ticket members. The inside sales representative will also work with the new tickets sales team to build the season ticket member base by making outbound calls to sell full season tickets and partial mini packs. Inside sales will work with the group sales team to work with prospective groups who want to attend matches at Rio Tinto Stadium.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Sell new full season tickets, partial season tickets, group tickets, and premium seats including season ticket renewals.
  • Establishes relationships by making outbound phone calls, setting face to face appointments, for current and prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed daily outbound call volume as set by the Director of Fan Relations.
  • Work games, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Meets or exceeds weekly and monthly sales goals. 
  • Provides excellent customer service at all times on the phone and in person at Rio Tinto Stadium.
  • Present self in professional manner, and show ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Actively assists customer service efforts by emailing and mailing invoices, tickets, or promotion materials to current and prospective clients.
  • Display high level of integrity, positivity, and accountability in all aspects of the job.
  • Liaise between internal and external departments to ensure all STM’s expectations are being met
  • Work the box office windows and sell daily individual tickets at the ticket windows
  • Work ticket resolution at the box office during all events at Rio Tinto Stadium
  • Work all NON RSL events in support of the box office

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS:

  • Maintain computerized records of all season ticket members and prospective clients with our CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in customer service/hospitality, loyalty marketing, event management, and/or sales
  • Exceptional analytical, planning and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other computer skills required
  • Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management
  • Able to work varying schedules
  • Knowledge of Veritix ticketing platform is an advantage but not a requirement

Accountant

Real Salt Lake is currently seeking an Accountant to join our team. This at-will position assists the senior accountant and CFO in maintaining accurate books for all entities owned by the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following list of functions is descriptive of the work to be performed but it should not be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, functions or tasks that the job may require.

  • Accounts Payable
    • Manage and maintain vendor files.
    • Input vendor invoices into Accounts Payable system.
    • Distribute vendor invoices to Directors for approval.
    • Prepare weekly check run, and send vendor payments.
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Manage and maintain customer files.
    • Prepare and send Sponsorship, Suite, and Ledge Box invoices.
    • Follow up on receivables and track versus sales contracts.
    • Prepare bank deposits on collections.
    • Reconcile clearing accounts.
  • Accounting Transactions
    • Reconcile cash receipts daily.
    • Reconcile bank balances.
    • Make daily deposits at the bank.
    • Record and reconcile all credit card transactions.
  • Assist in monthly close as follows:
    • Review Income Statement for correct classification of all expenses.
    • Prepare journal entries as requested.
    • Manage year-end 1099 preparation.
  • Support the annual outside audit by CPA’s and other audits as needed.
  • Supervise accounting clerk and interns under guidance of senior accountant and CFO.

Senior Accountant

Real Salt Lake is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This at-will position conducts manages and performs the accounting activities of the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The following list of functions is descriptive of the work to be performed but it should not be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, functions or tasks that the job may require.
  • Maintain the General Ledger (Quickbooks) system to ensure it accurately reflects the activities of all companies.
  • Conduct the monthly closing activities of the company and prepare the monthly financial statements and related management reports. Includes review of accounting transactions and preparation of journal entries as needed.
  • Reconcile and/or oversee the reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, maintain supporting detail, and make adjusting entries as needed.
  • Oversee the daily reconciliation of revenue in all systems, and ensure proper coding to revenue or deferred revenue.
  • Support the various audits of the company’s books and records conducted by third parties.
  • Organize, prepare and conduct with the promoters all stadium event/concert settlements, including the detailed accounting of all event revenues and expenses.
  • Work directly with managers and directors to review their spending and management reports, and identify areas of financial opportunity and risk, with recommendations to maximize or mitigate.
  • Work with the department heads to prepare the company’s annual operating expense budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Perform A/P and A/R functions.
  • Manage payroll activities and interface with human resources to ensure timely and accurate processing and disbursement.
  • Prepare information for the completion all tax returns, along with tax projections as needed.
  • Protect the company’s assets through an effective system of internal control and knowledge of the company’s information systems (general ledger, ticketing, etc.)
  • Work with The League as needed and prepare and submit league reports, including budgets, forecasts, and actual results.
  • Support the CFO as needed with analysis and recommendations.

Description: CSC Event Staff provide general guest services to sports and entertainment events. CSC Event Staff responsibilities include:

  • Completing venue-specific training;
  • Greeting guests as they enter and leave the event;
  • Enforcing venue policies and procedures;
  • Answering questions, resolving complaints, giving directions;
  • Taking / checking tickets;
  • Ushering / stewardship;
  • Directing parking;
  • Reporting suspicious activity and violations of venue policy;
  • Conducting safety inspections and reporting unsafe conditions or other hazards;
  • Responding to guest conflicts and other incidents;
  • Completing written incident reports;
  • Assisting with evacuations and other crowd management duties.

CSC Event Staff must have a positive attitude, present a professional image, and possess excellent observation and communication skills; good judgment; integrity; self-discipline; and give strong attention to Branch Manager, Event Manager and Supervisor directives.

Requirements: Candidates seeking employment with Contemporary Services Corporation as Event Staff must be:

  • Eligible and authorized to work in the United States;
  • At least 18 years of age; A high school graduate (diploma, GED or equivalent);
  • Able to speak, read and write English;
  • Available to work some nights and weekends;
  • Able to work while standing for 4 to 8 hours, with accommodation if necessary;
