OUR PLEDGE TO FANS

Welcome to America First Field. We believe sports and entertainment bring families and community together. It’s where life takes place! We aim to create a safe, clean, fun, and inclusive environment where our fans and guests can enjoy the match. We expect our athletes, staff, fans and guests to be courteous, respectful, and display good sportsmanship. We will share event and match-related information accurately and in a timely manner and do our part to provide a wonderful experience. We are glad you’re here!

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

Whether attending an event in person or engaging through digital or social media platforms, fans are expected to:

  • Respect the dignity and personal space of all staff, fans, officials, athletes, and opposing teams
  • Foster an environment free from all forms of discrimination, including harassment
  • Celebrate with passion, enthusiasm, and good sportsmanship while respecting fellow fans, players, coaches, officials, and staff
  • Respect all facility regulations and comply with public address announcements, posted stadium policies, and requests from facility staff
  • Engage constructively and respectfully on related digital and social media platforms
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws

The following conduct is prohibited at America First Field, and in its parking lots and other facility areas, and on digital and social media platforms, where applicable:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening, or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment of match officials, players, staff, or fans
  • Conduct that is illegal
  • Provoking and/or inciting threatening, abusive, or discriminatory behavior in others
  • Conduct that results in damage or loss to the venue or other personal property
  • Displaying signs, symbols, images, using language, wearing clothing, accessories, or making gestures that: contain profanity, are obscene, depict sexual acts, depict violence, encourage or have calls to violence, promote terrorist organizations, or are threatening, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation
  • Displaying signs for commercial purposes or for electioneering, campaigning, or advocating for or against any candidate, political party, legislative issue, or government action
  • Entering or attempting to enter the field, the field track, the tunnel, or any other location other than that permitted by the fan’s ticket or credential
  • Use or possession of an unauthorized pyrotechnic device, smoke or firework or other Prohibited Items, as outlined below
  • Throwing objects of any kind
  • Failing to follow requests from venue staff or observe posted signage regarding stadium operations, policies, and emergency response procedures
  • Declining to promptly return a ball that enters the stands
  • Irresponsible use or consumption of alcohol or other substances
  • Purchasing or providing alcohol for consumption to an underage person
  • Making unauthorized transmissions or play-by-play accounts of the match
  • Any behavior that otherwise targets other fans or interferes with other fans’ enjoyment of the game

Fans are encouraged to report violations of the Code of Conduct to the nearest facility staff member or the facility’s reporting hotline. Any fan who violates any of these provisions may be subject to penalties in the respective team’s sole and absolute discretion, including but not limited to ejection without refund, loss of ticket privileges for future games, and revocation of season tickets. Any fan who conducts themselves in an extremely disruptive or dangerous manner or commits multiple violations of this policy may be banned from attending future matches or events. Local law enforcement may also be notified.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Policy applies to all events at America First Field, including MLS and NWSL events.

NO BAG POLICY – No bags or purses larger than 4” x 6” x 2” are allowed inside the stadium. Exceptions include medical bags, cultural bags, and diaper bags (with child present) no larger than 14” x 14” x 6” and are subject to search. Bags do not have to be clear.

  • Weapons including, but not limited to, knives, switchblades, brass knuckles, pepper spray, stun guns, concealed weapons, and firearms. America First Field is private property and does not honor concealed weapons permits or off-duty carry
  • Outside food or beverages, including alcohol, unless authorized by venue
  • Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals
  • Any missile or object that can be used as a projectile
  • Aerosol cans or pressurized containers
  • Professional camera equipment, including but not limited to, tripods, monopods, battery packs, large commercial video cameras, and lenses longer than 4”
  • Noisemakers, including but not limited to, whistles, horns, airhorns
  • Laser pointers
  • Remote controlled aircraft or unmanned aircraft systems (drones)
  • Hoverboards, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, or other wheeled devices
  • Selfie sticks
  • Signs, banners, or flags larger than 3’ x 5’ (including any on non-plastic, capped, or telescoping poles)
  • Inflated soccer balls or other sports equipment
  • Beach balls, balloons, or other inflatable items
  • Umbrellas
  • Animals (excluding certified service animals with proper documentation)
  • Confetti or streamers
  • Any other item (including clothing and accessories) deemed inappropriate, dangerous, or otherwise in violation of our Code of Conduct by the Venue Security Representative

America First Field reserves the right to amend this prohibited items list at any time.
