The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Mavinga an additional undisclosed fine and additional one-game suspension (two-games total) for violent conduct after the final whistle of Toronto’s match against Atlanta United on August 4 (<a href="http://click.info.mlssoccer.com/?qs=2fcab262aedaca4dc7df91885429cd302cf68abf401ecde213db78c84c99c6941dc87d73f43f8fdde8af2bc8fdfdc2e189dec8aaac1b32f2">VIDEO</a>). Mavinga, who originally received a red card for his actions, will serve his red card suspension during Toronto’s next MLS Regular Season match on August 12 against New York City FC. The defender will serve his additional one-game suspension during Toronto’s MLS Regular Season match on August 18 against the San Jose Earthquakes.<br><br>

<p>Real Salt Lake Head Coach Mike Petke was found in violation of the Suspended Coach Policy during Real Salt Lake’s match on July 21 against the Colorado Rapids. Suspended coaches are prohibited from entering the bench area, locker room, or field level. Petke has been issued an undisclosed fine for entering one of the prohibited areas.<br></p> |
