Heading into his 10th season with RSL, Kyle Beckerman has never been so anxious to get started. After a rough season last year, the captain is ready to lead his team back on track and onto a winning start.
After just a week into preseason, the competition is high on the team. Which is just how Beckerman likes it, Chris Kamrani reported in the Salt Lake Tribune.
"If these guys see us busting our ass, then they're going to be busting their ass," he said. "It could be contagious around the whole group."
This is exactly what the team needs right now as they only have three weeks to prepare for their match against Tigres. This match will be high pressure due to it being in the knockout stages of the CONCACAF Champions League play.
