Rio Tinto Stadium's mid-Summer 2016 facelift features completely revamped "Carnival Real" festivities on the Sandy venue’s East Lawn, just north of the AFCU Pavilion.
Opening each RSL and Monarchs gameday two hours prior to kickoff, the new-and-improved Carnival Real features pre-game music from DJs, live bands and/or local radio stations, providing atmosphere for numerous fan zone activities, including: a mini Foot-Golf course, a 35-foot obstacle course, inflatables and a new playground. For special events, multiple food trucks and many other exciting features are added; also, keep an eye out for RSL and Monarchs player autograph signings as well!
