Overall thoughts on the match…
“Well I think the first half was pretty equal, they scored on us really soon, but I think we had some opportunities, even in the first half, to try and tie. At least it was 1-0 in the first part and I think 1-0 is always a good result that you can come from. The second half the team have a reaction, especially in the first 10/15 minutes, we showed that we wanted at least one point and obviously we were thinking about the three points.”
On upcoming string of matches…
“Now it’s about showing what we have in this team. Every year, during the season you have bad moments, obviously this is our bad moment, we lost against Sky Blue, we didn’t win against Portland at home, we lost to North Carolina, now we lost here in Chicago. Now it’s up to us and up to the players to show our character. We know that we are good football players and we work hard everyday, but that is just not enough, we have to show it during the 90 minutes. To have the ball and create changes is just not enough, we have to keep the goal on zero and then go through that. We hope to do it on Wednesday, it’s a final for us, this was a final for us, but now it’s gone, and Sky Blue is the most important in the season right now for us. If we come up and get and we get in the right way this team still has a long way to go.”
