Player to Watch – Defender Josh Suggs has played a powerhouse on the New Mexico United backline, helping in leading the team to its six-game undefeated streak. The New Mexico native has made an impressive 26 clearances with 11 interceptions and a 70% tackle win rate to help in securing the United goal. Suggs comes from a strong soccer background, coming from Colorado Switchbacks FC where he made 92 appearances and six goals while earning the honors of being on the 2016 USL All-League Second-Team.


History – The history slate is clean between Real Monarchs and expansion side New Mexico United, as this will be the first bout between the two since the induction of the New Mexico side. The match could still get heated as Real Monarchs aim to climb the table, while New Mexico continues to try and prove its place in the Western Conference, all while battling for supremacy in the Four Corners Cup.
