- An Ontario native, made her mark in high school at White Oaks Secondary School in Ontario where she earned a national championship in 2001.
- Attended Princeton University where she was was voted Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2004.
- Voted the Ivy League Player of the Year in 2007 and the Princeton Women’s Athlete of the Year in 2008.
- A Canadian National Team Regular having made her debut in the 2003 Algarve Cup and scored her first goal in September 2001.
