COACH OF THE YEAR
We are now at the halfway mark and the numbers don't lie when it comes down to Mike Briggs and his Real Monarchs. Briggs has done an outstanding job managing his team. With only a few months as the head coach, Briggs has taken the Monarchs to the top of the table. He has also helped the team obtain the USL-record with the most consecutive wins in league history. No wonder why the fans have voted him the USL Coach of the Year at the mid-point.
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
The Monarchs striker, Chandler Hoffman, has scored 11 goals this season, helping him top the fan vote as the Most Valuable Player at the half way point. Hoffman's personal accomplishments are big reason why the Monarchs have been so successful. The potent striker is a fundamental piece to the the team with the best record in the league. Hoffman has also added 5 assists, accounting for 27.5 percentage of the Monarchs 40 goals so far.
Keep your eyes peeled. We can't wait to see what Briggs and Hoffman do the rest of the season.
