News Stand 6/23/15
After a 2-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City last weekend, Real Salt Lake hopes to keep the momentum going this week with upcoming matches against the New York Red Bulls and the Columbus Crew.
In an article by James Edward of the Deseret News, Kyle Beckerman said, “I think this game right now is so important… A tie would have done us no good, so to really be able to get the win was such a big moment and hopefully it’ll push us in the right direction for the rest of the season.”
Writes Edward, “Now the question becomes, was it a one-off performance or has Real Salt Lake turned the corner and started to figure things out? With four games over the next 11 days, which include a U.S. Open cup match, the answers to those question will come quickly.”
