“Heeeeeeeeeeeee’s baaaaaaaaack. After leaving Real Salt Lake in February 2020, Jefferson Savarino has returned to the Red-and-Colbalt as RSL’s newest Designated Player. Following his first stint in Salt Lake City, Savarino joined Brazilian club, Atletico Mineiro, where he made 93 total appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals. Savarino dazzled the Brazilian top flight with both his goal scoring prowess and a keen sense of creativity, assisting 21 times in all competitions for Atletico.
