Real Salt Lake Highlights Drop-In Play At ZBRA During Mental Health Month

Real Salt Lake is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month throughout the month of May.

One way the Club is supporting this initiative is through its drop-in soccer league at Zions Bank Real Academy as it’s proven that staying active and exercising is a great way to enhance and support your mental health.

Drop-in soccer is available to anyone 18 and over and a ten dollar entry fee gets you unlimited play. The games are typically held on Fridays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with some games being held on Thursdays at the same time as well. Weekend events are being explored in the near future as well.

The Club also recommends you to bring your own equipment to the drop-in games such as cleats and shin guards as none will be provided.

“Drop-in soccer offers everyone a great opportunity to come out, exercise, and just enjoy the game,” Taylor Peay, the Academy/Camps and Tournament Director at Zions Bank Real Academy, said.

“Life is a daily grind and I think that the RSL drop-in soccer initiative offers a kind of escape for a little bit to go out and have fun in a way that’s healthy and supportive to physical and mental health. Overall it’s just an awesome experience,” Peay said.
