Man of the Match: Forward Jonathan Menendez made his first start of the 2022 MLS Season for the Claret-and-Cobalt and made his impact felt in the attacking half from the first moment. He led all RSL players in shots with three and created the Club’s best opportunities, including a shot on goal in the fifth minute that forced goalkeeper Tim Melia to make a point-blank save from close range.
Telling Stat: Goalkeeper Zac MacMath’s three saves on the night brings his season total to 19 saves in the 2022 MLS Season. MacMath is now third in the MLS in overall saves this season, behind only Charlotte FC goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina and DC United’s Bill Hamid.
