Man of the Match: Goalkeeper David Ochoa made six saves and added two clearances, including a kick-save to block a 1-v-1 opportunity in front of goal. His six saves mark the second-most in a game for the 20-year-old goalkeeper. 

Telling Stat: Midfielder Albert Rusnak recorded two passes to bring his season total to 65, tied for the third most in the league. Additionally, he achieved a 98 percent passing accuracy, completing 49 of his 50 passes, the highest of any player on the field.  

What You Missed: Midfielder Damir Kreilach continued his historic season, scoring his 13th goal of the year, officially surpassing his previous record of 12 goals set in 2018. Second-half substitutes Jonathan Menéndez and Rubio Rubin each recorded their fifth assists of the season on Kreilach’s goal.  

What’s Next: Real Salt Lake will have a two-week break before they return home for the final match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, October 16. The match will determine who will lift the Rocky Mountain Cup, as each team has one win through the previous two games. Real Salt Lake will come into the match on a seven-game unbeaten streak at Rio Tinto Stadium, including a 3-0 win over the Rapids on July 24. To lift the cup RSL will need a win, or a draw thanks to their positive two goal differential.
