Our thoughts are with the three Vancouver Whitecaps academy players who were assaulted on Saturday evening in what is believed to be a racially motivated attack. We are hopeful that the victims will have a quick and full recovery.
We stand alongside the Whitecaps organization and strongly condemn all forms of discrimination, racism, and hate. There is no place for it in our community, and we will do everything to support all those impacted by such atrocious injustices.
