Western Conference Standings At A Glance

Real Salt Lake returns to Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday night against LAFC (7:30 p.m. MT) in the first home match since March 7.  With RSL’s win on Saturday, it climbed to sixth in the Western Conference standings at 2-1-3 (9 points), tied with LAFC on points, but trailing in the third tie-breaker goals scored.

After facing LAFC, RSL will travel to Portland to face the Timbers at Providence Park on Saturday (8:30 p.m. MT, KUTV, KSL TV app, ESPN 700).  Portland sits fourth in the Western Conference at 3-2-1 (7 points) after falling 2-0 to the Seattle Sounders on Sunday and will face the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday (8:30 p.m. MT, MLS Live on ESPN+).  With a congested schedule and a tight race in the West, a lot can change by the time the week wraps up.
