Game at a Glance: Real Salt Lake Draws Montreal 1-1 -

Man of the Match: Joao Plata earned and converted the penalty in the first half.  He now has four goals and two assists in the last five matches, taking the team scoring lead and equaling his total last season, when he shared the team lead in goals.

Telling Stat: Real Salt Lake put six shots on goal in the match, forcing Montreal goalkeeper Evan Bush to have an incredible game to limit RSL to just the one goal.  Salt Lake now has put at least six shots on goal in six of the last seven matches.  The offense is starting to round into form.

What You Missed: Nick Rimando made three saves on the night, including late ones on Ignacio Piatti and Quincy Amarikwa to keep the match even.  That kept RSL unbeaten in the last four matches at 1-0-3, continuously earning points to stay in the playoff hunt.

So What: RSL remains unbeaten in the last 12 home matches, going 9-0-3 at Rio Tinto Stadium.  By staying in sixth in the Western Conference, Salt Lake has a hold on playoff position.  With the next three matches on the road against LAFC, the Houston Dynamo and the Colorado Rapids, the club will look to continue to turn its road form in the right direction, particularly after earning a shutout against the San Jose Earthquakes two weeks ago.  Good, bad or indifferent, the draw means RSL will keep compiling points in the hunt for the postseason.
