Ryden Lands on Team of the Week after Two Goal Performance against T2

Real Monarchs SLC opened the home portion of its 2018 regular-season on Saturday, hosting Portland Timbers 2 at Rio Tinto Stadium, ultimately walking away 4-2 victors over T2. Notching two goals in his first start with the Monarchs was DF Kalen Ryden who’s two headed efforts in the first half solidified a spot on the United Soccer League’s Team of the Week for Week 3. Ryden scored the club’s second and third goals on the afternoon in the 7th and 35th minutes against T2, helping the club to remain undefeated in home opening matches with a 3-0-1 record.
