2016: After being acquired on loan from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno July 22, Baez saw action in only one game for the first team, playing five minutes in RSL’s 0-0 draw against FC Dallas on September 24.  The 19-year-old scored two goals in six appearances on loan to Real Monarchs, playing a total of 419 minutes with the USL club.
