Professional Career
2016: Phillips appeared in 29 games for the Claret-and-Cobalt starting 23 times. He had a hand in five RSL goals in 2,177 minutes of play, placing him first among defenders for assists. Phillips started and played 120 minutes in RSL’s U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal match against the Seattle Sounders.
2015: Phillips started 16 league matches last year, appearing in 18 total. He also made three starts in the U.S. Open Cup and two in CONCACAF Champions League.
Phillips began his professional career with Waterhouse FC in Jamaica. He played five seasons there, winning the league title in 2006 before moving to Stoke City in England in 2007. After making just two appearances in two seasons with the Potters, he moved to Norwegian club Aalesunds FK in 2009. He had a successful run at Aalesunds, leading the club to Norwegian Cup titles in 2009 and 2011 and three-straight appearances in the UEFA Europa League from 2010-2012.

Phillips is a regular with the Jamaican National Team, logging 12 goals in 62 caps for the Reggae Boyz.
