Sundly, 22, spent some time with RSL during the Irvine portion of the club’s 2015 preseason after being drafted a year ago by New England Revolution (31st overall) and spending most of 2014 on loan to the Rochester Rhinos of the USL, where he amassed 25 games and more than 1,700 minutes, scoring twice. The former Cal Golden Bear is regarded as a box-to-box midfielder who can cover ground, but has shown a nose for the goal, tallying nine goals and two assists his senior year at Berkeley.
