HERRIMAN, Utah (Tuesday, March 15, 2022) – Real Monarchs have signed midfielder Tyrone Mondi to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract ahead of the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season, pending league approval and receipt of his P1 visa.

“The Club is very proud to announce the addition of Tyrone to the Real Monarchs roster. Tyrone has proven himself a capable winger at the college level and is someone our staff believes has the necessary tools to continue to develop within our pathway,” Real Salt Lake Assistant General Manager Tony Beltran said.

Mondi, 24, comes to Utah from Oregon State University where he scored 10 goals in 28 appearances during two years with the Beavers. While at Oregon State Mondi was named the 2021 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year and to the All-Pac-12 First Team.
