Albert Rusnak & Slovakia dropped their second group match at the UEFA U-21 tournament to England, 2-1.
Rusnak played the entire match, assisting on the only goal for the “Little Falcons.”
Rusnak’s perfect corner found the head of Martin Chrien in the 23rd minute to give Slovakia the early lead. However, England rallied in the second half, scoring two goals in a span of 11 minutes to clinch victory for the Three Lions.
The loss drops Slovakia to second in Group A.
Slovakia faces Sweden in its final group match on Thursday. The result in that match and the corresponding England-Poland match, will determine which teams advance to the tournament knockout stage.
