Real Salt Lake was proud to announce Rachel Barnes as their first Season Ticket Member of the Match of the 2023 season. Rachel and her family were honored at RSL’s home opener against Austin FC on March 11th.
Rachel has been a season ticket holder since she moved back to Utah in 2015, but has been a lifelong RSL fan and soccer advocate.
“I love soccer, I love watching soccer, and I want to make sure that I do what I can to support the teams here in our community,” Barnes said.
As a lifelong fan, Rachel has been watching RSL since the team's inaugural season in 2005.
“My favorite RSL memory is the inaugural home opener in 2005. The game was on my birthday and I had incredible seats to watch Brian Dunseth score the goal that got RSL the win in the first game here in Utah,” Barnes said.
