Head Coach Jamison Olave
On the resiliency and fight of the team:

“I think the team has a lot of fight. For the first 45 minutes El Paso dominated. We had a couple of injuries and a couple of substitutions that we had to make, but we have to get through it and we have to adjust. I am really proud of what the team did, especially in the second half.”

On Wehan and Quintero’s debuts:

“They came in and played well. I think Quintero did a really good job in the middle, which we expect from him. He played final balls and found good spaces, he did really well. He [Quintero] is going to get into the team, it was just his first game for us and he is going to get better. Charlie brought energy, it was his first game with the team too, like Quintero, so it is going to take time. These guys have just come in and have not been training for long, but they are going to be okay. I am very happy with what he did, taking people one on one and trying to make things happen in the final third. He’s going to get better but he did a good job today.”

Forward Charlie Wehan
On his professional debut:

“It was a great experience, but obviously not the result we wanted. To get that first professional debut definitely felt good though and it was a great atmosphere out here.”

On what he can bring to the team this season:

“I’m hoping to bring more of an attacking threat. Get on the ball, get behind the defense, create chances and score some goals for us.”

Forward Milan Iloski
On his thoughts on the match:

“I thought that we showed a lot of fight, it was obviously tough. I feel that on a different day we win the match. I think we deserved it, especially in the second half. You don’t want to blame the refs, that’s not how I behave but it’s tough. We have to take matters into our own hands and be better in front of goal. We’ll get back to work and see what happens next time.”

On his late goal:
“I hit it well, I’m glad I could get the goal to keep us in it there for a little bit. It’s nice to be scoring goals for the team. Obviously, I am not playing for the first team right now, that's obviously my goal, but when I come down here I want to help as much as I can. For this team it seems like my role is to score goals, so that’s what I am going to continue to do as long as I am here.”
