Flip the Switch presented by LifeVantage

For each match in the MLS Is Back Tournament, we will take a look at three aspects of the game that Real Salt Lake will need to have flipped on to find success.

Transition defense – When Colorado wins possession, they look to get out on the break.  With speed and dynamic players in the attack, organized defending in those frenetic moments can neutralize the Rapids and slow them down.

Set piece defense – With Kei Kamara and Lalas Abubakar, Colorado is dangerous on corner kicks and deep set pieces.  Kamara is among the more prolific players in league history on restarts and Colorado had two goals off of corner kicks in the first two regular season matches this year. RSL’s defense in the box in these moments will be important.

Energy – Under Robin Fraser, Colorado has shown to be a high-energy team.  RSL will need to match or surpass that energy, particularly at the start of the game, to dictate the tempo of the game.

Tune it at 8:30 p.m. MT on ESPN as RSL takes on the Colorado Rapids and find out if RSL can Flip the Switch.
