The 2019 USL Championship title winners are set to face each team in the Western Conference twice in a home-and-home series format. As previously announced, the Monarchs will begin their title defense on the road when it kicks off the 2020 season against San Antonio FC on March 7 before returning to Zions Bank Stadium for their home opener on March 14 against Phoenix Rising FC. Real Monarchs will close out the 2020 regular-season on the road against Tacoma Defiance on October 17.

The Monarchs will be tested from the beginning with a front-loaded schedule, playing three games within seven days in March before having three quick mid-week matchups across May and June. After Wednesday’s June 24th contest against Sacramento Republic FC however, Real Monarchs will finish out the regular-season playing exclusively on weekends.
IT ENDS AT HOME
After a packed schedule at the beginning of the season, Real Monarchs will play six of its final 10 regular-season games at Zions Bank Stadium where it currently boasts a league-best record of 23-4-6 since April 2018. Within the final 10-game stretch, the Monarchs will play three straight games in Herriman when it hosts Las Vegas Lights FC, Rio Grande Valley FC and Portland Timbers 2 during the final weeks of September.
WELCOMING THE NEW KIDS
Early April will see Real Monarchs make its first trip to San Diego, California to face Landon Donovan’s San Diego Loyal FC. The Monarchs will then welcome the 2020 Expansion side to their world-class facility in Herriman in the summer when the two meet in Utah on July 25.
DEFENDING THE FOUR-CORNERS
Real Monarchs will begin its defense of the supporter-created Four-Corners Cup when it hosts Phoenix Rising FC in its home opener on March 14. The Monarchs will close out its run through the series with a stretch of matches against its Four-Corners rivals when they play Switchbacks FC, New Mexico United, and Rising FC in July.
A WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL REMATCH
After a dramatic and late finish in extra-time in the 2019 Western Conference final at Zions Bank Stadium, May 23 will see the first rematch between Real Monarchs and El Paso Locomotive FC when the Monarchs visit Texas. The two will clash again on the stage of last year’s conference final when the Monarchs host El Paso on August 15.
New for 2020, Zions Bank Stadium will feature general admission seating. Reserved seating is limited and is available to season ticket holders with tickets starting as low as $6 per game.
