SANDY, Utah – (Tuesday, January 7, 2020) – Real Salt Lake today announced its full preseason schedule ahead of the 2020 season that will see the club travel to Arizona twice between training stints at the Zions Bank Real Academy in Herriman, Utah.
Ahead of the club’s 16th season in Major League Soccer, RSL will begin training camp on January 18 in Herriman, before traveling to Phoenix, Arizona on January 26 for its first stint away from Utah. While in Phoenix the club will train before returning to Utah on February 1.
The team will then train in Herriman from February 2-11 before departing for Tucson, Arizona for a 12-day trip that will see the club feature in the 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup. RSL will play three matches between February 15-22 during the Sun Cup, the first on February 15 against rival Sporting Kansas City before facing the Houston Dynamo on February 19. RSL will cap its preseason slate against USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC on February 22.
RSL’s first two matches during the Sun Cup will be held at Kino North Stadium in Tucson while the match against Phoenix will be held at Casino Arizona Field in Scottsdale. Tickets to the matches can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/010719SC
