Player to Watch – Forward Augustine Williams has already made an impact for the LA Galaxy II attack after signing with the team in January 2019. Having only made two appearances, playing both games for LA this season, Williams has earned two goals, picking up the brace against Tacoma last Saturday. The 21-year-old striker smoothly placed in his first, and used his speed to catch a long ball with a headed effort just over the Tacoma goalkeeper for the second. The new signee will have more to try and prove when he and Los Dos visit Real Monarchs.


History – Real Monarchs SLC and Los Dos stand even in history, as the all-time series record between the two Western Conference foes stands at 3-3-2. In late August last year, Real Monarchs took the three points with a dominant 4-0 win but LA Galaxy II rebounded in a September rout with a 6-1 victory of the Monarchsin California. The Monarchs have a history of claiming points on Utah soil against LA Galaxy II holding a home record of 2-1-1 (7 points).


Last Five – LA Galaxy II have seen a win and a loss so far this season, picking up a a 1-1-0 record in its first two contests. The first match saw LA Galaxy II drop three points in a 4-1 loss to Colorado Springs, but rebounded a win on the road with a 3-0 clean sheet over Tacoma Defiance. Los Dos will be aiming to hold on to the momentum it picked up in Washington as it visits Utah to play a Monarchs side still searching for its first win of the season.
