Real Monarchs SLC (18-12-3, 57 points); Fresno FC 2 (9-12-12, 39 points)

Player to Watch – Goalkeeper Kyle Reynish has been a wall between the pipes for Fresno throughout the season. Recording 77 saves and 7 clean sheets, the 33-year-old goalie has helped make the Fresno goal one of the most secure in the West. In his last three games, Reynish made seven saves, four of which came last Friday to keep the Fresno sheet clean. The former Real Salt Lake goalkeeper made eight impressive saves on the night against the Monarchs in the last bout between the two to limit the damage dealt on the score line.

History – This will be the third time the Monarchs and the Foxes have faced each other in the all-time series where the Monarchs are undefeated with a record of 2-0-0. The two previous duels came earlier this year and saw the Monarchs take the early lead in the eighth minute of both games then hold out the scoring for a pair of 1-0 victories. As Real Monarchs look to secure a home playoff berth, it will be searching for lightning to strike a third time and take home the three points in its final game before the post-season begins.

Last Five – Much like its regular season finale foes, Fresno FC broke a winless skid after picking up a victory last Friday over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Now with a five-game record of 1-3-1, the Foxes have started to turn things around putting itself into the 11th spot in the Western Conference with 39 points. Having only one game left to play means Fresno won’t be making a play off appearance this year but will still look to come away with the three points as it looks to end the season strong with eyes on 2019.
