Player to Watch – Forward Thomas Enevoldsen has helped shape the Orange County SC attack into one of the most dangerous in the league. The Danish International has scored a team leading 16 goals towards the 57 scored for OC, making it one of the highest scoring teams in the league. Clinical with the ball within the 18-yard box, Enevoldsen is one to keep an eye on for Wednesday’s match.
History – Orange County SC leads the Monarchs in the all time series with a record of 4-3-1 in the eight games played between the two. Real Monarchs have begun turning the record around however, having overcome OCSC twice in the last three outings. The last match-up between the two came in early May and saw the Monarchs walk away with the three points at Zions Bank Stadium in a 2-1 victory to kick off the Monarchs home win streak.
Last Five – Orange County has been in a strong run of form as of late with a record of 3-1-1 in the last five games. The last two matches saw OC pick up six points as it toppled OKC Energy and Fresno FC to overtake the top as Western Conference Leaders.
