CLUB STATEMENT REGARDING UTAH ROYALS FC BROADCASTS
KSLTV App to Carry Live Utah Royals FC Away Matches

SANDY, UT (Friday, August 17th, 2018) - In response to today's reports regarding Utah Royals FC broadcasts, Real Salt Lake Chief Business Officer Andy Carroll issued the following statement:

ā€œUtah Royals FC has seen unprecedented growth since the clubā€™s inception at the beginning of the 2018 season. Our live match broadcasts on KMYU and the KSLTV app have played an integral role in that growth.  In fact, over the course of the 2018 NWSL season, the club has broadcast more Utah Royals FC matches than any other NWSL team.   Our partnership with KSL in 2018 to digitally deliver over 200 hours of live soccer coverage, combined with our outstanding over-the-air broadcast partnership with KMYU, has allowed us to reach new heights across our three professional teams, and deliver more live local soccer than any other market in the U.S.  With regards to our coverage of Utah Royals FC and the National Womenā€™s Soccer League, we fully support the initiatives of the league and continue to grow womenā€™s soccer in the state of Utah.

Utah Royals FC away matches will remain available LIVE and free via the KSLTV app ā€“ available for download on iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire and 4th- Generation Apple TV devices. We thank the fans of Utah Royals FC for their support of the team both at Rio Tinto Stadium and afar throughout the season, and KSL along with KMYU for their world-class efforts to ensure production and distribution is the best they can be. As always, fans can also stream the match free on RSL.com.ā€
