The win jumped Utah to 6th place in the standings, now just four points away from the playoff line. “Utah’s come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Dash moved them to sixth place in the league standings. Utah swapped places with the Dash in the standings and are now four points behind the fourth-place Thorns FC. Utah Royals FC are 6-6-7 with 25 points and have a busy week ahead hosting the Spirit on Wednesday and then the second-place Reign FC on Saturday. After Week 20, Utah will only have three more games left in the regular season.”
URFC will now return home for their next match against the Washington Spirit on Wednesday, August 8, at Rio Tinto Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. MT, and will be broadcasted live on KMYU, the KSL TV app, and ESPN700 AM.
