Woman of the Match
FW Amy Rodriguez opened up the game early, scoring a stellar one-time volley in the 8th minute of the match. Running past her defensive mark, A-Rod leaped towards the oncoming ball, coolly tapping it over the head of Pride GK Ashlyn Harris. Rodriguez ended the match with the most shots on the Utah side, and registered two “big chances” in front of frame. Her work-ethic, offensive threat, and possession on the ball earned her this week’s “Woman of the Match.”
