Fast Facts: Real Salt Lake at FC Dallas -

Player to Watch – Winger Michael Barrios is as dangerous as they come on the wings.  The 26-year-old Colombian had three goals and 14 assists last season after totaling 16 goals in 58 matches over the previous two seasons.  His speed is tough to match on the right wing and with Mauro Diaz and newcomer Santiago Mosquera providing balance and Maxi Urruti spearing things up top, Dallas has the tools to utilize him.

Matchup to Watch – Joao Plata vs. Reggie Cannon.  Plata is looking to elevate his game to the next level and is likely to square off against a 19-year-old Homegrown talent with just one minute of MLS experience.  It’s the type of matchup that would make someone of Plata’s talents salivate, but there is a reason Oscar Pareja has put faith in the young Cannon.

All-Time Record – Dallas leads the all-time series with a 19-11-6 record, including a 13-1-2 record at Toyota Stadium.

Last 5 Head-to-Head – Dallas leads 3-1-1, including wins in both matches last season by a total tally of 9-2.

Last 5 Overall – Dallas went 2-1-2 over the final five matches of the 2017 MLS regular season.  Prior to that, FCD went 0-6-4 to fall out of the playoffs.
