9/11: A day that changed America

911 Memorial

Fourteen years ago, Tyrone Marshall was ready to head to New York with the Miami Fusion to face the Metrostars in MLS play.  Then, plans quickly changed when two planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers, collapsing both within hours.

Like many around the country, Marshall’s jaw dropped at the sight.  He and his Fusion teammates never boarded that plane and it was nine days before they played their next match.  Marshall took the time Friday, on the 14th anniversary of those attacks, to recall his reaction and how the team responded in the aftermath on the Claret and Cobalt Daily Podcast.  Here is the full interview, including his take on RSL's upcoming matches against the Houston Dynamo and Santa Tecla FC.
