Real Salt Lake will attempt to make history on Wednesday night by becoming the first MLS team ever to win the CONCACAF Champions League finals. The Claret-and-Cobalt host the second leg at Rio Tinto Stadium as they face Mexican powerhouse Monterrey (10 pm ET, Fox Soccer, TeleFutura).
RSL have not known defeat at Rio Tinto in 37 consectutive matches in all competitions, and after grabbing a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Mexico, it seems a tall task awaits los Rayados. If RSL can add a 38th to their incredible home streak, a December trip to the FIFA Club World Cup -- where no MLS team has gone before -- awaits in December.
