Career Summary

The Texas native is entering his second professional season after being selected by RSL with the 21st overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft. Spending one season with the UConn Huskies, Kerkvliet started all 18 matches in his lone NCAA campaign ranking 10th nationally with a goals against average of 0.77. Kerkvliet was awarded Big East Freshman of the Week honors three times, and the Big East Goalkeeper of the Week award. Signing a professional contract with the Club upon arrival, Kerkvliet stepped in as backup keeper late last season for an injured Stajduhar, as well as playing 932 minutes in goal for RSL’s MLS NEXT Pro side, Real Monarchs, in 12 games during the season.
