Professional Career

2020 Real Monarchs: Named Real Monarchs 2020 Defensive Player of the Year, Moberg wore the captain’s armband in three of his 13 appearances, all of which were starts. Moberg recorded an assist with an 82.7 percent pass success rate in 1,170 minutes and now has 90 appearances for the Monarchs. In addition, the defender finished the season with a 70.6 percent tackle success rate.

2019 Real Monarchs: Moberg became Real Monarchs longest tenured player when he resigned ahead of the 2020 season. He made 17 appearances and 13 starts (77 appearances and 60 starts overall) and added 2 assists in 2019. Moberg once again played a part in lifting the Utah side to more silverware, winning the USL Championship Title for the first time.

2018 Real Monarchs: Moberg started in 21 of his 24 appearances in 2018, adding one assist. He helped the Monarchs reach the playoffs where they fell to Reno FC in the quarter-finals.

2017 Real Monarchs: The California native became a mainstay on the Monarchs backline in the 2017 season, adding 29 appearances with 26 starts to his Monarchs career, as well as recording three goals and an assist. Moberg’s contribution on the field helped lift the Monarchs side to its first Regular Season Title win.

2016 Real Monarchs: Moberg joined the Real Monarchs family ahead of the 2016 season, playing in eight matches with a single start throughout the season.

Collegiate: Moberg played his collegiate career with the University of Washington from 2012 to 2015, tallying 10 goals and 21 assists across 69 appearances. While playing with the Huskies, Moberg also played in the Premier Development League with the Portland Timbers U-23s and Washington Crossfire.
