Seven Royals top USA's FourFourTwo list of best U.S. Women players

Utah Royals FC is opening its inaugural season in the NWSL in April of 2018 but the buzz around the team is quickly gaining momentum as the club’s name and logo were revealed late last week. Player rights from FC Kansas City were given by the NWSL to the Utah Royals after Kansas City ceased operations mere weeks ago and some of the names on the list may catch the attention of fans of the U.S. Women’s National Team.


In a recent article by FourFourTwo, the Top-50 Best American Women’s Players of 2017 were ranked on votes from a panel of experts based on performance for both club and country from the 2017 season. Among the names on the list were seven players that could possibly be featuring in a Royals jersey for its inaugural season after player rights were assigned to the Utah club:
