For the second time this season, a Real Salt Lake goal won MLSsoccer.com’s Goal of the Week.
The first saw Javier Morales cap a stretch of three matches that saw him tally two goals and three assists with a rocket against the San Jose Earthquakes in Week 5.
This time around it was Devon Sandoval’s first goal of the season on an equally-impressive arcing rainbow against the Montreal Impact.
Sandoval curled his left-footed shot inside the far post on the run to notch his first goal of the year in the 47th minute against the Impact, stunning the crowd at Saputo Stadium. His strike earned 38 percent of the vote this week to take home the honor.
