HERRIMAN, Utah (Mon., Oct. 19, 2026) - Real Salt Lake’s Morgan Guilavogui was recognized as one of  MLSsoccer.com’s Matchday 31 Best XI honorees, while midfield teammate Noel Caliskan was named to the bench for the fictional weekly selection.

Logging his first-ever RSL brace in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Sporting Kansas City, Guilavogui’s first goal came early into the match, securing momentum for the Claret-and-Cobalt. Making a run down the left flank after Juan Manuel Sanabria opted to secure the ball rather than letting it cross the endline for a RSL corner, a quick sequence followed as Sanabria cut back into the box to find Caliskan, who then set up Guilavogui with a first-time touch near the SKC six. With a shallow angle, Guilavogui played a simple finish to the far post for his first goal of the night, and just his third of the season.

Receiving another dangerous ball inside the box from Sanabria just three minutes later, Guilavogui fired but his shot was rejected by a SKC defender. The rebound found the feet of an onrushing Sergi Solans near the top of the goal box, the RSL rookie tapping it in for the Claret-and-Cobalt’s second of the night.

Midway through the second half, with RSL looking to secure an important three points on the road in a tight Western Conference Wild Card Playoff race, Caliskan drove down the left flank to the end line, before firing a pass back into the box to Guilavogui, whose late run saw him finish first-time to the far post once again, sealing the win for RSL, its first away from home since March 7 at Atlanta.

Guilavogui's brace saw him find the back of the net for the first time since August 19, giving him four goals in the year, With four matches left to play in the MLS reg. season. Guilavogui now sits fourth amongst the RSL Golden Boot leaders, his four trailing only Spanish rookie Solans (12), former RSL wingback Zavier Gozo (6) and injured USMNT midfielder Diego Luna (5), the assist leader behind only Solans (15) in total goal contributions, with 12.

Saturday marked the second match this season Caliskan logged multiple assists, the first occasion also coming in a 3-1 win over SKC in April at America First Field. Caliksan is now one goal or assist shy of reaching double-digit goal contributions for the season.

Real Salt Lake now returns home to America First Field to host U.S. Open Cup Finalist St. Louis City SC this Saturday, October 24, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. at America First Field. Tickets for the match are available here.
