This Thursday, June 19, Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals FC, Real Monarchs, and the RSL Academy will join in celebrating Juneteenth—a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and honors Black freedom and resilience.
Juneteenth became a federally recognized holiday in 2021, and Utah followed suit in 2022, officially declaring it a state holiday.
The day serves as a powerful opportunity to reflect on African American history, celebrate progress, and promote continued education and achievement across the nation
