SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando is up for MLS Save of the Week!
A two-time Save of the Week winner this year, Rimando is nominated for his stop of a powerful Marvin Chavez shot in the second half of RSL's 3-0 win over San Jose on Saturday. The veteran backstop is up against Seattle's Michael Gspurning, Houston's Tally Hall, Montreal's Troy Perkins and D.C.'s Joe Willis for the weekly honor.
Rimando is the second RSL player to be nominated for a MLS honor this week, joining forward Robbie Findley, who was nominated on Monday for MLS Goal of the Week.
