Nick Rimando has amassed several accolades throughout his record-setting career.  The MLS all-time leader in career shutouts can add one more honor to that long list as he was named to the second team in the Pac-12 Conference’s All-Century Team this week.

Rimando played three seasons at UCLA from 1997-1999 before signing professionally with MLS and joining the Miami Fusion in 2000.  With the Bruins, Rimando posted a 0.67 goals against average over three seasons, winning 19 of his 22 matches during his junior season while leading UCLA to the College Cup semifinals.

The RSL goalkeeper is one of 14 UCLA players named to the All-Century Team, including two other goalkeepers - Player of the Century Brad Freidel and Rimando’s 1997 teammate Matt Reis.  A panel of current coaches, former players and media members chose the final list from 64 finalists.

Among the Starting XI is former RSL forward Robbie Findley, a standout with the Oregon State Beavers  from 2003-2006.
