SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando is up for his third MLS Save of the Week of 2014.
Rimando has two amazing saves nominated from his excellent performance in Saturday's 1-0 win over Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium.
Rimando is nominated for his kick save on Portland's Alvas Powell from point-blank range in the 85th minute. The veteran 'keeper is also nominated for his diving save a few minutes later on Portland's Gaston Fernandez in the 88th minute.
Rimando won back-to-back MLS Save of the Weeks for week one and two of the 2014 MLS regular season.
