HERRIMAN, Utah – (Wednesday, June 2, 2021) – Real Salt Lake defender Ashtone Morgan has been named to the Canada Men’s National Team roster for its upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches against Aruba on June 5 and Suriname on June 8.

Canada features in Group B of Concacaf’s World Cup Qualifying where it currently leads the group with six points after winning its previous two contests against the Cayman Islands and Bermuda.

“It’s always an honor to get called in to represent your country,” RSL General Manager Elliot Fall said. “We are really excited that Ashtone’s hard work has earned him another call-up with Canada.  Hopefully he will get the opportunity to represent them on the field.”

Morgan, 30, signed with RSL in January 2020 after spending his nine previous professional seasons with Toronto FC where he won MLS Cup in 2017.
