Real Salt Lake Signs GK Alex Horwath

SANDY, Utah (Monday, February 12, 2018) – Real Salt Lake General Manager Craig Waibel announced on Monday that the club has signed GK Alex Horwath, pending receipt of his ITC, to round out the contingent of goalkeepers ahead of the 2018 season.  Horwath joined RSL for training on Sunday at Zions Bank Training Center before the club departs for Orlando, Florida, for the third and final leg of preseason training.

“We are happy to bring Alex into our locker room.  He’s another player that will help raise our level of training and keep a competitive environment,” Waibel said.  “He has proven that he can compete in the U.S. and abroad and with his experience in Europe we feel like he brings a new element to our roster.”
