Head Coach Jamison Olave

On the match:

“We’re going to take the positives from the performance of the team. Haroun had a really good game today, it was his second game. The guys in the front, Milan specifically, did really well. Aris has had three goals in three games. We conceded three goals, but we can go back and look at the mistake so we can correct it. We need to start thinking about good results. The performance is good but the mistakes are there.”

On Aris’s recent performances:

“It’s absolutely great and means a lot to us. To have someone scoring, you come into the game with hope that maybe he’ll score one, maybe he’ll score three. He can score. We’re really happy with what he’s doing and we hope he can keep scoring.

On Bret Halsey’s performance:

“I think he was solid. Defensively, he didn’t concede anything on the right side. Offensively, he got high [up the pitch] a couple of times in the first half. He didn’t get the ball much in the second half, but every time he did, he was clean. Defensively, he was good one-v-one. It’s his first game since he came down, so let’s [wait and] see. He needs to keep improving, but we’re very happy with what he did today.”

Defender James Moberg

On his first game back from Injury:

“It’s always amazing. Unfortunate result, but now we just have to get back to the drawing board. There were things tonight that really shouldn’t have happened and it is just unlucky for us right now. We will fix it.”

On the match:

“I thought we responded really well. We went down 1-0 then we responded really well. We had a lot of the ball. Again just an unlucky error there. Then we’re chasing the game. We are creating chances so we will get there.”

On looking ahead to Austin:

“I think we had such a long stretch that these next couple of days are going to be huge for the mental side of it all. We get a little break to regroup and we need to get after it in training next week.
